Hampton-in-Arden dates back to the Domesday Book and is a designated Conservation Area for architectural heritage, with its 17th century timber framed houses. Hampton is home to the parish church of St Mary and St Bartholomew and the village centre is served by the White Lion Inn, The Beeches gastro-pub and Hampton Manor hotel with it’s Michelin starred restaurant.

The village of Meriden, historically thought to be the geographical centre of England, is a key stop on the Heart of England Way, a walking trail from Staffordshire to the Cotswolds. Merdien is also home to a memorial obelisk to all the cyclists who died in the First World War and Millison’s Wood Nature Reserve which has a beautiful bluebell trail in April and May.
